CrossCountry has advised customers that services may be diverted via Solihull, bypassing Birmingham International and Coventry. The following routes are affected:

  • Avanti West Coast – between London Euston and Birmingham New Street / Wolverhampton / Crewe / Edinburgh.
  • CrossCountry – between Bournemouth and Manchester Piccadilly.
  • London Northwestern Railway – between London Euston and Birmingham New Street.
  • Transport for Wales – between Birmingham International and Chester / Aberystwyth / Machynlleth / Holyhead.
  • West Midlands Railway – between Birmingham International and Rugeley Trent Valley.
