According to Trainline, these disruptions are anticipated to continue until 8pm this evening. The company confirmed that lines are blocked between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street due to the trespassers, leading to potential delays and disruptions for passengers.
Affected Routes
CrossCountry has advised customers that services may be diverted via Solihull, bypassing Birmingham International and Coventry. The following routes are affected:
- Avanti West Coast – between London Euston and Birmingham New Street / Wolverhampton / Crewe / Edinburgh.
- CrossCountry – between Bournemouth and Manchester Piccadilly.
- London Northwestern Railway – between London Euston and Birmingham New Street.
- Transport for Wales – between Birmingham International and Chester / Aberystwyth / Machynlleth / Holyhead.
