A motorcyclist has tragically died following a collision with a car in Warwickshire. The incident occurred yesterday morning, Tuesday, May 26, at approximately 10:06 am.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Stratford Road and Shipston Road, near Newbold on Stour. Emergency resources included one ambulance, a paramedic officer, and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
Patient Outcomes
Despite the best efforts of medical crews, the motorcyclist, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene due to serious injuries. The car driver, a woman, sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for treatment.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “On arrival, crews discovered two patients. A man, who was the motorcyclist, was found to have suffered serious injuries. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him, and he was confirmed dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a woman, was treated for a serious but not life-threatening injury before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
