Emergency services rushed to a serious road traffic collision in Moseley on Monday afternoon after a woman was struck by a lorry.

The incident occurred at the busy junction of Alcester Road and St Mary's Row at approximately 2.52pm on Monday, January 19. A heavy goods vehicle was involved in a collision with a female pedestrian near the Baggaley Chemist and Damascena coffee house.
West Midlands Ambulance Service deployed significant resources to the scene, including an ambulance, two paramedic officers, and their Critical Care Car. Paramedics found the woman in a serious condition and administered specialist trauma care before transporting her under emergency conditions to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
