The Range & Homebase Launch UK Christmas Trees Just in Time
The Range & Homebase Launch Christmas Trees for 2025

In a move set to save the festive season for countless Brits, The Range has confirmed that Homebase franchises within its stores will be stocking a full range of real Christmas trees, perfectly timed for Christmas Day 2025.

A Festive Rescue Mission

This exciting development comes after the DIY retailer Homebase collapsed into administration at the end of 2024. However, the brand, which remains popular with shoppers, has found a new lease on life through a strategic partnership. Over the last year, Homebase has opened 200 garden centres inside The Range superstores nationwide, ensuring its continued presence on the high street.

Now, this collaboration is bearing its most festive fruit yet. A selection of premium, real Christmas trees will be available from mid-November right through December, directly addressing concerns about potential tree shortages.

What You Can Find in Store

Shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a variety of sustainably grown UK trees. The confirmed options include:

  • Nordman Fir: Known for its soft needles and excellent needle retention.
  • Fraser Fir: A compact tree with a fresh scent, ideal for smaller spaces.
  • Noble Fir: Available in the Republic of Ireland, featuring blue-green foliage and sturdy branches for heavy ornaments.

Announcing the news on Facebook, Homebase enthusiastically declared, “Christmas is SAVED!” The post also highlighted that customers can find all the necessary stands and accessories to keep their tree looking vibrant throughout the holiday season.

Spreading Cheer Across the UK

The initiative underscores the success of the partnership, bringing over 45 years of Homebase’s gardening expertise under the same roof as The Range’s popular offerings. The trees are reported to be premium grade, hand-selected for their superior shape, colour, and that iconic festive scent.

The Christmas tree excitement is further amplified by the opening of a new garden centre at the Oldbury Green Retail Park. The store launches this Friday, November 14, allowing Brummies to get their hands on a fresh tree by the end of the week.

With 200 locations now active, most UK shoppers will have a Garden Centre by Homebase at their local The Range, making it easier than ever to secure the centrepiece of their Christmas decorations.
