In a heartwarming new initiative, Moya Cole Hospice has entered its first-ever product collaboration, launching a signature scented candle to raise vital funds for its palliative care services.
A Fragrant Partnership for Care
The hospice has teamed up with artisan brand Molly Lou Candles to create a unique, comforting fragrance. The candle, priced at £25, represents a significant fundraising opportunity, with £10 from every sale donated directly to the ongoing care provided by the hospice.
Ryan Perkins, Head of the Moya Cole Hospice Trading Company, expressed his delight at the partnership. "We are delighted with this collaboration," he said. "It is an exciting time as we have never released a Moya Cole Hospice candle before."
The Scent of Comfort and Support
The candle's aroma is a carefully crafted blend designed to evoke serenity. Its top notes feature indulgent chocolate brightened by citrus bursts of orange, bergamot, and mandarin. The heart of the fragrance combines amber with lavender, lily, and guaiac wood, leading to a smooth base of musk, vanilla, sandalwood, moss, and caramel.
"The scent turns to a smooth base that lingers long after the flame is out," the hospice described, noting it is perfect for creating a warm and blissfully serene space.
Successful Launch and Future Plans
The candle enjoyed a positive initial reception at the hospice's Light Up a Life events this week. It launched for general sale on the hospice's online shop on Friday, subject to availability. Refills for the candle are available for £19.50.
Looking ahead, the hospice has confirmed it will collaborate with Molly Lou Candles again in the new year to develop a second candle inspired by the Moya Cole Hospice Complementary Therapy team.
To purchase the candle and support the hospice's work, visitors should go to the official online shop.
