A rescue charity in the West Midlands has issued a desperate plea to find a permanent home for a bonded pair of cats who have been in foster care for a year. The two cats, named Milo and Otis, are inseparable and must be rehomed together, which has made finding a suitable adopter challenging.
Long-term foster care
The cats have been living with a foster family since they were rescued, but the charity is eager to find them a forever home. According to the charity, Milo and Otis are both around three years old and have formed a strong bond. They are described as affectionate and playful, but they can be shy initially with new people.
The plea
The charity's spokesperson said: "We are making an urgent appeal for someone to offer these two lovely cats a home. They have been in foster care for far too long, and they deserve a stable, loving environment where they can stay together. It breaks our hearts to see them waiting."
Milo and Otis are neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date with vaccinations. The charity is covering the cost of their initial veterinary care and will provide support to the new owners.
How to help
Anyone interested in adopting Milo and Otis is asked to contact the charity directly. The charity also welcomes donations to help cover the costs of caring for other animals in need. The spokesperson added: "We understand that adopting two cats is a bigger commitment, but the love and companionship they offer is double the reward. Please consider giving them a chance."
The charity hopes that by sharing their story, a kind-hearted person or family will step forward to give Milo and Otis the home they have been waiting for.
