West Midlands Police have arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting that left a teenage boy in a critical condition. The incident occurred in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham on the evening of Tuesday, 14 November.

Officers were called to reports of gunfire on Bordesley Green Road at around 7:30pm. Upon arrival, they found a 17-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
