Warren Bullock, a 61-year-old dance teacher from Lower Penn, near Wolverhampton, has been charged with child sexual offences following an investigation by West Midlands Police. The charges include causing or inciting a boy aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity and sexual assault on a male.
Investigation and charges
The charges follow an investigation by officers from the force's Police Online Investigations Team (POLIT) into a report of sexual communication with a child. Bullock was arrested as part of the inquiry and has since been bailed.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "A man has been charged with child sexual offences in Staffordshire. Warren Bullock, 61, of Lower Penn, near Wolverhampton, has been charged with cause/incite a boy aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity and sexual assault on a male."
Court appearance and next steps
Bullock is due to appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on Friday, October 16. He was bailed ahead of that appearance.
The spokesperson added: "It comes following an investigation by officers from our Police Online Investigations Team (POLIT) into a report of sexual communication with a child. Bullock has been bailed ahead of his first appearance due at Cannock Magistrates' Court on Friday 16 October."
Appeal for information
West Midlands Police have asked anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact them via the public portal. The spokesperson said: "Anyone with any information that could help us with our investigation is asked to get in touch using the public portal."
