West Midlands Police were called at 12:15pm to reports of an altercation between a group of teenagers. Upon arrival, officers found the victim with stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital where his condition is described as life-threatening.

The scene on Market Street was cordoned off, and Church Street was closed. Buses were diverted, causing delays in the surrounding area.

Police Appeal
