Two men sustained injuries after a vehicle collided with a tree in Birmingham on Tuesday evening. Emergency services were dispatched to Bromford Lane in the Hodge Hill area at 8.30pm on June 30.

Upon arrival, paramedics discovered that a car had left the roadway and struck a tree. A male passenger was treated for potentially serious injuries and subsequently transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further care. The driver, also a man, received treatment for injuries that were not considered serious and was taken to Heartlands Hospital.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service stated: "Two men have been injured after a collision in Birmingham last night. West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 8.30pm to Bromford Lane in the Hodge Hill area and sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers and a trauma doctor with critical care paramedic to the scene. On arrival, crews found a car had come off the road and hit a tree. A passenger, a man, was treated for potentially serious injuries before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The driver, also a man, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and was conveyed to Heartlands Hospital."
