Urgent Appeal: Missing Birmingham Boy, 12

West Midlands Police have issued an urgent public appeal to help locate a missing 12-year-old boy from Birmingham, with officers urging anyone who spots him to call 999 immediately.

Critical Search Underway for Hayden

Hayden was last seen on Tuesday, January 20, wearing his school uniform. The youngster has not been seen since, prompting a widespread search operation across the city and surrounding areas.

Distinctive Appearance and Known Links

Police have released a description of Hayden to aid the public in identification. He is described as having dark, curly hair and brown eyes. Authorities have highlighted that he has known links to several specific areas within Birmingham.

These locations include:

  • Aston
  • Erdington
  • Nechells
  • Birmingham city centre

Officers are particularly keen for residents and visitors in these neighbourhoods to remain vigilant and report any potential sightings without delay.

Immediate Action Required from Public

The police spokesperson emphasised the urgency of the situation, stating: "If you see Hayden, or can help us find him, please call 999 quoting PID 418185." This direct appeal underscores the critical nature of the search in ensuring the boy's swift and safe return.

This incident marks the second report of a missing schoolboy in the West Midlands region within a 24-hour period, following a separate appeal for Cody from North Warwickshire. However, police have indicated that the two cases are not believed to be linked at this stage of the investigation.

The community is being asked to share this appeal widely and to contact authorities with any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, that could assist in locating Hayden.
