Actress Emma Samms Launches First Solo Art Exhibition in Gloucestershire
Actress Emma Samms, widely recognized for her role as Fallon on the television series Dynasty, is set to debut her first-ever solo art exhibition in her home county of Gloucestershire. The exhibition will take place at Stroud's Subscription Rooms, offering visitors an exclusive opportunity to view her unique new collection over five days, starting on Tuesday, February 17.
From Pen and Ink to Abstract Paintings
Emma Samms has expressed feeling "nervous but excited" about sharing her artistic passion with the public. Her collection includes detailed pen and ink drawings, which she has been creating since her teenage years, as well as a series of colourful, large-scale abstract paintings that represent a more recent artistic transition.
She remarked, "I've been doing pen and ink drawings since I was a teenager, when I did my art A-level at the age of 16. The transition from pen and inks to my large, abstract paintings is fairly recent."
Artistic Process and Sales
Emma finds the painting process extremely fun and enjoyable, and she hopes to sell enough artworks to continue creating more in her studio. For many years, she has been selling her work, including numerous private commissions, alongside her successful acting career, charity work, writing, and photography.
The exhibition, sponsored by Wotton Auction Rooms, will be held in The George Room of The Subscription Rooms in Stroud, Gloucestershire. It will run from 10am to 4pm daily from February 17 to February 21.
Purchase Details
Artworks from the exhibition will be available for purchase starting February 18 through Emma Samms' official website, www.emmasammsart.com. This event marks a significant milestone in her multifaceted career, blending her artistic talents with her public persona.
