The hit ITV reality series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! made its explosive return on Sunday night, 16th November, with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly immediately teasing the first dreaded eating challenge.
First Campmates Face The Eating Trial
Ant and Dec revealed to the campmates that the first Bushtucker trial will take place at the ominously named 'revolting restaurant' The Divey. The celebrities chosen to face this culinary nightmare are comedian Ruby Wax and social media star Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angry Ginge.
This pairing will have to work together to win precious stars for the camp, securing food for their fellow celebrities.
Luxury vs. Offal: A Divided Camp
The camp was already divided after the very first challenge. Morgan 'Angry Ginge' Burtwistle proved his mettle early on, winning the initial task alongside rapper Aitch and TV star Jack Osbourne.
Their reward was a place in a luxurious getaway car that took them directly into the main camp. To make their victory even sweeter, Jack Osbourne cooked a steak dinner with mushrooms and avocado for the winning trio.
Meanwhile, the other contestants – Ruby Wax, Lisa Riley, Shona McGarty, Kelly Brook, Alex Scott, and Martin Kemp – were not so fortunate. Their first meal in the jungle was the far less appealing emu neck.
Viewers React to a 'DILF'
While the celebrities braced for challenges, viewers at home were quick to comment on the appearance of one campmate in particular: Martin Kemp.
Social media was flooded with praise for the Spandau Ballet star's looks, with many dubbing him a 'DILF'. One viewer tweeted, 'Martin Kemp is so gorgeous. Those eyes.', while another simply stated, 'MARTIN KEMP DILFFFF #ImACeleb.'
Ant and Dec even joked about his status as a 'nepo daddy', referencing his son Roman Kemp's own jungle stint in 2019.
As the new series kicks off, the stage is set for drama, with Ant McPartlin's declaration 'we're back baby' signalling the start of another unforgettable season in the Australian jungle.
