The Just So Festival is set to return in August 2026 after a year-long hiatus, bringing 13 new festival spaces and an expanded creative programme to Rode Hall Estate in Staffordshire, just over an hour's drive from Birmingham via the M6.
Festival Details and New Features
Scheduled from August 21 to 23, the family-friendly event will introduce several new spaces, including The Rumpus for 'epic gatherings', Craftivism for creative workshops, and the chilled-out zones Star Shore and Moon Cove. The music programme will feature the new Shindig stage, with acts such as Hyde Family Jam, gypsy funk band Klonk, and King Zepha.
Returning favourites include the Spellbound Forest campfire with storytelling and the reinvented Carnival of the Animals tradition.
Environmental Commitment
The festival is deepening its commitment to environmental responsibility with the new Homegrown Grub Challenge for food vendors. All official merchandise will be created from repurposed second-hand garments to reduce waste.
Festival Director's Vision
"Last summer we pressed pause for a rare year off to reinvent and dream what Just So can be," said festival director Rowan Cannon. "We've spent the past year creating a whole immersive world for our audience to step into."
Located at Rode Hall Estate near Stoke-on-Trent, the festival is accessible from Birmingham via the M6 motorway.
