The South Wales Vegan Festival, one of the UK's premier vegan festivals, is making its debut in Cardiff this September. The event, organised by Vegan Events UK, will take place at Penarth Leisure Centre on Saturday, September 5, from 10:30am to 4:30pm.
What to Expect at the Festival
The festival promises a spectacular array of vegan products, including beauty products, toiletries, homeware, pies, cakes, chocolates, cheeses, sandwiches, salads, sweets, healthy treats, juices, smoothies, candles, jewellery, crafts, clothing, charity merchandise, and free samples. It aims to cater to everyone, whether they are vegan curious, vegetarian, or fully vegan. The event is family friendly, with free entry for under 16s.
Founder's Excitement
Victoria Bryceson, founder of Vegan Events UK, expressed her enthusiasm: “I’m looking forward to bringing our Vegan Festival to Cardiff for the first time this September. Confirmed Caterers and Local Stallholders
Early confirmed caterers include Greek Vegan Deli, offering traditional Greek vegan savouries, and The Plant Based Chippy, serving vegan meals such as their iconic Vfish n’ Chips. Local stallholders feature Taff’s Well’s Lilith Natural Beauty, a mother-and-daughter team providing award-winning, 100% natural vegan skincare and home fragrances. Also present is Miracle's Mission, a non-profit animal welfare organisation that rehabilitates and rehomes disabled dogs and works with sick and injured animals worldwide.
Tickets and Pricing
Standard entry is £5, with under 16s free. VIP tickets are available for £15, including fast-track entry and a goody bag of vegan products, samples, discounts, and offers. Over-18s receive a free can of Rebel Wine, a CBD-infused wine from festival sponsors. Tickets can be purchased at the Vegan Events UK website.
