Big Ben Named UK's Best View

Survey Reveals Top UK Views

A recent survey of 2,000 adults has crowned Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament as the United Kingdom's best view, with 42% of respondents selecting the iconic London landmark. The poll, conducted by the travel company VisitBritain, aimed to identify the most breathtaking vistas across the country.

London Dominates the List

London landmarks dominated the top 10, with the London Eye coming in second place, securing 38% of the votes. The Tower Bridge followed closely in third, with 35% of respondents praising its majestic structure. Other notable entries include the Shard, Buckingham Palace, and the River Thames from the South Bank.

Regional Gems Also Recognized

While London claimed the top spots, other regions were also celebrated. The Lake District's Scafell Pike and the Scottish Highlands' Ben Nevis were among the natural wonders that made the list, showcasing the UK's diverse landscapes. According to a spokesperson for VisitBritain, the results highlight the nation's pride in both its urban and natural scenery.
