Birmingham Nightclub RumRum Reopens with Strict Rules

Closed Birmingham nightclub RumRum has announced its return with a strict policy for opening nights. After saying goodbye in January, the venue declared that the new era will be 'better than ever'.

New Location and Identity

On January 1, RumRum closed in The Arcadian after six years, stating 'it was time to say goodbye'. Only four months later, the music venue is back with a new look, identity, and location. On Saturday, April 25, RumRum Birmingham will open on Exeter Street for a pre-launch with strict rules.

Exclusive Pre-Launch Event

The free event is only available to members of the community group InviteOnly Society, which describes itself as 'designed for people who want more than just nights out: people who value experiences, connections, and lifestyle'. Anyone can request to join the free group, and benefits include 'priority access to RumRum Birmingham' and 'networking with ambitious people'. Anyone trying to get in who is not a member will be turned away, and names will be checked at the door.

Strict Dress Code

RumRum will open to non-members on May 2, but there will still be rules to follow. With a strict dress code of black and gold, only those wearing 'smart or glamorous' clothing will be allowed in. All sportswear items are banned from RumRum Birmingham.

A New Chapter

For the May 5 event, RumRum posted: 'After four months away, RumRum VIP Bar & Lounge has been reborn bigger, bolder, and better than ever. New venue. New energy. Everything reimagined from the ground up. This is not just a party. This is a statement. A new chapter. And we want YOU here from day one.'

RumRum Birmingham is located at 11 Exeter Street, Birmingham, B1 1NH.
