Gilbert and Sullivan enthusiasts in East Norfolk have a delightful event to look forward to next month. On Saturday, June 6, the renowned troupe 'The Wandering Minstrels' (www.wanderingminstrels.org.uk) will present 'The World Of Gilbert and Sullivan' at Ludham Church, starting at 7.30pm.
A Night of Song, Dance, and Comedy
The performers will sing, act, and dance their way through excerpts from beloved operettas including 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'The Gondoliers', 'Princess Ida', 'Ruddigore', 'Trial by Jury', 'The Grand Duke', 'Utopia, Limited', 'The Mikado', and 'HMS Pinafore'. This gala concert features artists Helen Winter, Emma Stratton, Charles Mills, Bruce Graham, and Tim Hurst-Brown, with Peter Hewitt accompanying on the piano.
