iFLY Indoor Skydiving Centre Opens at Birmingham NEC

A new indoor skydiving experience has opened at Birmingham's NEC, offering thrillseekers the chance to 'experience the sensation of freefalling' in a safe and controlled environment. iFLY has launched its fifth UK location at the NEC Campus, bringing an 'exhilarating, world-class flying experience' to the West Midlands.

The centre occupies the fully renovated former indoor skydiving wind tunnel at the NEC, previously part of the Bear Grylls Adventure site, which closed in December 2024. iFLY NEC Campus features a newly upgraded 12-foot circular glass wind tunnel, allowing guests of all ages and abilities to enjoy the feeling of freefall.

The wind tunnel has been revamped with a new design, technology, and guest facilities. It includes the UK's first single loop air circulation system, an iFLY aerodynamic innovation that delivers smoother airflow, greater energy efficiency, and a quieter, cleaner experience for flyers.
