Yungblud made a surprise appearance at The Tap & Spile on Gas Street in Birmingham, just hours before his headline show at Utilita Arena. The singer, who previously wowed fans at Black Sabbath's Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park in July 2025, is currently touring the UK and Ireland in support of his album Idols.
A Traditional Brummie Welcome
The Tap & Spile, a traditional pub near Black Sabbath Bridge, welcomed the star on Wednesday evening. Pub owners shared photos on Instagram, describing Yungblud as 'one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people you could meet'. The pub features a dedicated Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne wall, which likely appealed to the musician.
Villa Park Memories
During his Villa Park performance last summer, Yungblud delivered a memorable rendition of Ozzy Osbourne's Changes. The show was part of Black Sabbath's final gig, marking the end of an era for the legendary Birmingham band.
Idols Tour Continues
Following the release of Idols in June 2025, Yungblud's tour kicked off in Dublin on April 15. He has since played shows in Leeds, Cardiff, and Glasgow before arriving in Birmingham. The setlist is expected to include hits like Fire, Loner, and Lowlife, along with tributes to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath.
After Birmingham, the tour concludes with performances in Manchester and London's O2 Arena. Last-minute tickets remain available for those eager to catch the show.
