Yungblud Rocks Utilita Arena Birmingham
Yungblud brought his high-energy performance to Utilita Arena Birmingham on Thursday, 23 April, captivating the audience with a show that blended raw emotion and rock star charisma. The singer, born Dominic Harrison, took the stage in just jeans and tattoos, delivering a sweat-drenched set that included tracks from his latest album, Idols.
A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne
One of the standout moments of the evening was Yungblud's heartfelt tribute to the late Birmingham rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. He performed a cover of Changes, dedicating it to the Aston-born icon who had become both a mentor and close friend. This song had previously been performed at the Black Sabbath Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park in July 2025, earning Yungblud a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance at the 2026 ceremony.
Pre-Show Pub Visit
Before the gig, Yungblud was spotted at the Tap & Spile, a tucked-away pub on Gas Street in Birmingham. He happily posed for photos with fans and staff, leaving the owners 'buzzing' with excitement. The visit added a personal touch to his Birmingham experience.
The Idols Tour
Following the release of Idols in June, the Idols Tour kicked off in Dublin on 15 April and has since visited Leeds, Cardiff, and Glasgow before arriving in Birmingham. The tour continues with upcoming shows in Manchester and London's O2 Arena. Last-minute tickets are still available for those eager to catch the live experience.
