Responses from Caterers
Caterers for Bordesley Village Primary School stated: 'We have fully completed immediate corrective actions to address the points raised in the recent inspection. The Environmental Health Officer is scheduled to return to conduct a review, after which a formal application for a rating regrade will be submitted.'
Caterers for Cofton Primary School commented: 'The area that was deemed to need improvement was food handling, which resulted in the score awarded. All other areas were good or satisfactory. The issues were down to management control and logistical issues around equipment use. Both were immediately addressed, and a change in management has also taken place. We are awaiting an EHO revisit.'
Caterers for Colmers Farm Primary School said: 'The area needing improvement was food handling. Issues included fridge space and food storage, which were addressed by purchasing a new fridge. Allergen children were not being policed correctly, so the school put a revised process in place. The EHO confirmed all was in order during a follow-up visit. We are awaiting a rescore.'
Boldmere Junior School, Harper Bell School, Mapledene Primary School, and Welford Primary School were all approached for comment.
