A 15-year-old schoolboy has been formally charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article on educational premises after a teacher was allegedly stabbed at Milford Haven School in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The terrifying incident, which unfolded on Thursday afternoon, prompted an immediate lockdown of the school as emergency services rushed to the scene.

Police reported that the teacher was assaulted by a student "wielding a weapon" at approximately 3.20pm. In response, the school was swiftly placed on lockdown, with doors securely fastened and all pupils and staff instructed to remain in their classrooms or offices for safety. Dyfed-Powys Police had initially arrested the 15-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder, but charges have since been revised following detailed investigations.

Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Briggs confirmed the charges, stating: "We are continuing to support the victim whilst they recover from this traumatic event." He added that injuries, initially described as non-stab wounds, have now been confirmed as stab wounds after further assessment by specialist officers. The teenager has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swansea Magistrates Court today.
