Easyjet has introduced a significant 48-hour change for passengers. The airline, which operates flights from Birmingham, has launched 'Drop Everything', marketed as a new way to discover and book last-minute flights departing within the next 48 hours.
Available through Easyjet's Inspire Me tool, this feature simplifies finding spontaneous city breaks, weekend getaways, and sunshine escapes across Europe. On Easyjet's social media channels, a woman dressed in the airline's signature orange delivered what she called 'breaking news'.
She explained: 'Drop Everything is officially launched and it's never been easier to catch flights within the next 48 hours.' She added that 'people are being overtaken by the sudden urge to abandon their day-to-day lives immediately'.
How Drop Everything Works
Drop Everything flights help travellers swap routine for adventure with a quick getaway. Users can browse and book using Easyjet's Inspire Me tool, which already assists customers in finding the best breaks for their budget and schedule.
Easyjet launched the tool to support a growing consumer appetite for spontaneous experiences and short breaks. Recent research shows that 72% of people feel happier after a spontaneous act.
The airline states: 'Easyjet's Drop Everything is a brand-new feature within our Inspire Me tool, helping you discover and book last-minute flights departing within the next 48 hours. Head to Inspire Me, switch on the 'Within 48 hours' filter and see where you could be flying in the next couple of days. Your next getaway might be closer than you think.'
Destinations and Flexibility
On destinations, Easyjet added: 'That's up to you. From vibrant city breaks to relaxing beach holidays, cultural escapes and quick weekend trips, there are plenty of destinations across Europe ready when you are.'
You can filter by budget, travel dates, and trip type to find a last-minute flight that works for your plans and your wallet.
