The England national football team, including stars Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, was spotted at Birmingham Airport as they departed for the United States ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Departure from the Midlands
The squad had been training at St George's Park in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, for several days. On the morning of June 1, 2026, the players boarded a bus at 9 a.m. and traveled to Birmingham Airport, where they embarked on a chartered Virgin Atlantic flight to West Palm Beach Airport in Florida.
Dressed in matching tracksuits, the players were seen walking across the tarmac to a private flight to Miami. Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, 32, was photographed carrying a rucksack and wearing white trainers as he prepared for the eight-and-a-half-hour journey.
World Cup Campaign
The team, now managed by Thomas Tuchel, is aiming to secure England's first World Cup victory in 60 years. Before the tournament begins, the squad will spend 12 days acclimatizing in the intense heat of Miami, Florida.
England fans are expected to arrive in the coming days as excitement builds for the festival of football. The players' departure from the Midlands marks the beginning of their journey to the United States, where they hope to bring glory back to English football.
