Birmingham Pride is set to take place next Saturday, May 23, 2026, and National Express West Midlands has provided details on how local bus services will be affected by the new parade route. Numerous roads in Birmingham city centre will be closed between 11:30am and 2:45pm to accommodate the parade.
Parade Route
The parade will follow this route: Colmore Row, Victoria Square, Pinfold Street, Stephenson Street, Stephenson Place, New Street, High Street, Carrs Lane, Moor Street, Smallbrook Queensway, Hurst Street, and Hippodrome Square. The route change is due to resurfacing works on New Street.
Affected Bus Services
During the closures, the following bus services will be diverted: 23, 44, 56, 16, 17, 17A, 23, 24, 35, 45, 47, 50, 60, 61, 63, 80, 82, 87, 97, 97A, X1, X2, X20, X21, and X22.
