A serious accident involving a lorry on the M42 motorway near Solihull has resulted in significant delays for commuters this morning. The incident occurred on the southbound carriageway between junction 4 at the A3400 (Shirley/Dorridge) and junction 3A at the M40.
Lane Closure and Delays
Lane one of the M42 southbound remains closed following the accident, which caused the lane to be held for approximately 15 minutes. National Highways has confirmed that emergency services are at the scene, and traffic is building up as a result.
