Emergency services have closed a busy Birmingham route in both directions following a major incident. Dartmouth Middleway has been blocked off by police this morning, Saturday, May 30, after a collision.
Motorists were warned that a section of the A4540, between Jennens Road and Great Lister Street, was shut at around 9am. It is understood the closure has been in place since the early hours of the morning when the crash occurred.
West Midlands Roads stated: 'A4540 Dartmouth Middleway, both ways between Jennens Road and Great Lister Street in Birmingham. Police incident. Road closed.'
