A man in his 60s has died after being hit by a car in the Bearwood area of Birmingham. The fatal incident occurred near the junction of City Road and Sandon Road shortly after 1 pm on Tuesday, October 29.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene following the collision. The male pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he later passed away.
