A woman has tragically died after being struck by a vehicle on a major road in Birmingham during the early hours of Saturday, May 30. Police have confirmed the incident and launched an investigation.

The collision occurred on Dartmouth Middleway just before 2:30 a.m. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, was hit by a black Audi RSQ8. Emergency services attended the scene, but she succumbed to her injuries.
Arrest Made
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of drugs. He remains in custody for questioning.

Police closed Dartmouth Middleway in both directions between Jennens Road and Great Lister Street. Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
