Electric Storm Youth, a non-profit organisation supporting young people in Lancing and Sompting, has received a £1,500 donation from local housebuilder Cala Homes. The funding will help the charity continue its community work, which includes group activities, one-to-one mentoring, and mental health support.
Donation from Cala Homes Community Pledge scheme
The donation comes from Cala Homes as part of its Community Pledge scheme, which is linked to the nearby New Monks Park development. The initiative is designed to deliver extra support to areas where the housebuilder constructs new properties.
Money from the donation will go towards running key services such as the Young Carers Programme and art sessions. Around 327 young people rely on the charity every year for help with personal growth and well-being.
