An 18-year-old man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon after police allegedly discovered a knife during a search of a property in Dudley.
Arrest and Charges
Rehki Jeffers, from Dudley, was arrested on Tuesday, July 7, following a police operation at an address on Poplar Green. Officers recovered a knife during the search, leading to his arrest on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He has since been charged and is scheduled to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court next month.
Police Statement
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: 'A man has been charged after we recovered a knife from a property in Dudley. During the search of an address on Poplar Green yesterday afternoon, a knife was found. Rehki Jeffers, aged 18 from Dudley has since been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He is due to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court next month.'
