Two teenagers have been arrested following a police response to reports of suspicious behaviour at Wolverhampton bus station. The incident occurred at approximately 5pm on Wednesday, May 27, after CCTV operators from Wolverhampton Council alerted nearby officers to the situation.
Arrest and Seizure
The two teenage boys, aged 17 and 14, were detained on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon. During the arrest, a knuckleduster was recovered by officers. The suspects have since been questioned and released on police bail while investigations continue.
Police Statement
A spokesperson for the force confirmed: "We arrested two teenagers and a knuckleduster was seized after suspicious activity was spotted at Wolverhampton bus station yesterday evening. Wolverhampton Council operators monitoring CCTV cameras in the city centre alerted us at just after 5pm, and officers quickly attended. Two teenage boys, aged 17 and 14, were detained on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and a knuckleduster was recovered. The boys have since been questioned and released on police bail as enquiries continue."
