Two boys, one described as a teenager, have been seriously injured after a car collided with their bicycle at a junction in the Perry Common area of Birmingham. The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 11, at the intersection of Witton Lodge Road and Maxted Road in Erdington.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 8:39 p.m. following reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle. Two ambulances attended and found two patients—a boy and a teenage male—both from the bicycle. One was treated for a serious but not life-threatening injury, while the other received care for potentially serious injuries. Both were transported to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
Police officers sealed off the road to secure the scene and conduct their investigation. The driver of the car remained at the location and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
