Police have arrested a 41-year-old man from Walsall on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing at a house in Staffordshire. The incident occurred on Friday evening, with emergency services rushing to the scene after reports of a woman suffering stab wounds.

West Midlands Police officers were called to a property in the village of Great Wyrley, near Cannock, at around 6:30 PM on Friday. Upon arrival, they found a woman in her 30s with serious injuries consistent with stab wounds. She was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment, where her condition is described as stable.
The suspect, a 41-year-old man from Walsall, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody for questioning. Officers have cordoned off the area to conduct forensic examinations and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
