Irish Pub in Birmingham Alley Has Cheaper Roasts Than Toby Carvery

An independent Irish pub tucked away in a Birmingham alley is winning praise for its affordable Sunday roasts, lively music nights, and live sport screenings. Clancy's, which opened in Harborne in February, has quickly become a local favourite.

Cheaper Roasts Than Toby Carvery

Sunday roasts at Clancy's are priced at £15.95 per main course, making them five pence cheaper than the Sunday roast at the Kings Norton Toby Carvery. The hearty portions include Irish boiled bacon with buttery mash, beef, lamb, gammon, veggie pies, and all the trimmings, earning the pub a 4.9-star rating on Google.

Starters and puddings are also available, with two courses costing £20. Sides such as cauliflower cheese and creamed leeks with bacon can be added for £4 each.

A Legacy of Irish Hospitality

The family-run pub continues a tradition of Irish boozers in Birmingham. It occupies the site of the former Bun and Barrel burger joint, which later became Wingers Tap Room. The passage leading to the entrance has been transformed with a 'sláinte bab' sign, Kerry green decor, and Guinness branding to celebrate its heritage.
