The BBC has confirmed its full television plans for Remembrance Sunday, with extensive live coverage scheduled from the Cenotaph in London. This follows the broadcaster's Festival of Remembrance event which took place on Saturday night, November 6th.

The national broadcaster's coverage is set to commence at 10.15am on Sunday, November 7th, providing a comprehensive broadcast through to 12.40pm. The live presentation from London will be helmed by seasoned presenters Sophie Raworth and Petroc Trelawny.
Other major news outlets, including Sky News, are also expected to carry live coverage of the solemn events. The broadcast will capture the nation as it comes together to honour the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community, British and Commonwealth veterans, allied servicemen and women, and civilian volunteers.
Order of Service and Royal Attendance
The focal point of the morning will be the two-minute silence at 11am, observed across the nation as part of the National Service of Remembrance. Senior Members of the Royal Family will lead the commemorations, standing alongside leading UK politicians.
The service will also see participation from representatives of the armed forces, Commonwealth nations, and various faith communities. Following the silence, the traditional wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Cenotaph, honouring all those who have died in conflicts.
The Veterans' March and Accessible Viewing Options
A poignant and historic element of the day is the march past of nearly 10,000 veterans, which is organised by The Royal British Legion. This powerful display of remembrance allows the nation to pay tribute to the living veterans who have served their country.
In a significant announcement, veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby confirmed he has stepped down from his commentary role after more than a quarter of a century. He stated it had been an "honour and a privilege to be part of this annual ceremony commemorating our veterans and their sacrifice."
