Robbie Williams 'Super Proud' as Daughter Teddy, 13, Makes Acting Debut
Robbie Williams 'super proud' of daughter Teddy's debut

Pop icon Robbie Williams has shared his immense pride as his eldest daughter, Teddy, steps into the spotlight with her first acting role in the new Christmas movie, Tinsel Town.

A Family Affair on the Red Carpet

The Take That star, accompanied by his wife Ayda Field Williams and their 13-year-old daughter Theodora Rose 'Teddy' Williams, made a glamorous appearance at the UK premiere of the festive comedy. The event, held on 28th November 2025, showcased the family's support for Teddy's debut.

The film, Tinsel Town, centres on a faded Hollywood action star tricked into performing in a British Christmas pantomime. It features a star-studded cast including Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson, with Teddy portraying Cara, the daughter of Wilson's character, Jill.

A Father's Pride

Speaking to the Press Association on the red carpet, Robbie Williams opened up about his feelings regarding his daughter's foray into acting. "I'm super proud," the Rock DJ singer confessed.

He elaborated on the careful approach the family is taking, describing it as a "very weird situation to be in, to put your daughter out into the public." Williams emphasised that this is just a "very, very tiny little toe in" to give her a taste of the industry before she returns to school.

The proud father was most keen for the public to see the person he knows. "I just want people to see what I see with her every day, which is how kind and how compassionate and empathic she is," he said, adding that her role in the film was merely the "icing" on the cake.

Behind the Scenes of Tinsel Town

Directed by Chris Foggin, known for hits like Fisherman's Friends and Bank Of Dave, the comedy boasts a strong British ensemble. The cast also includes Danny Dyer, famed for his long-running role as Mick Carter in EastEnders, and Canadian comic Katherine Ryan.

Robbie Williams' own career trajectory was also highlighted. After leaving the massively successful band Take That in 1995, he launched a spectacularly successful solo career. His debut album, Life Thru A Lens (1997), was a chart-topper, paving the way for a string of number-one records including I've Been Expecting You and Sing When You're Winning.
