Pop icon Kylie Minogue has given fans a glimpse into a truly enviable celebrity moment, revealing she spent a night dancing "like wild cats" with two of Britain's most sought-after actors.
A Night to Remember at the Met Gala After-Party
The confession came during a festive visit to the Capital FM offices for the station's Christmas party on 16 December 2025. While enjoying the celebrations with Capital Breakfast hosts Jordan North, Chris Stark, and Sian Welby, Minogue shared the story of an unforgettable post-Met Gala experience.
She explained that after the intense preparations for the 2024 Met Gala—themed "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion"—she was initially hesitant to attend a late-night after-party. "I'm like, 'No, it's too late... Okay, how long will it take to get there? If it's 40 minutes downtown it's a flat no'," she recounted.
However, upon learning the journey was a mere 12 minutes, the Australian superstar decided to go. That decision led to an epic night. "I was there until 4am... I was dancing with Andrew Scott and Jonathan Bailey, like dancing like wild cats," she told the captivated Capital team.
Choosing Between Two Dance Partners? Impossible
When Jordan North cheekily asked who the better dancer was, Minogue refused to choose between the Bridgerton heartthrob and the Fleabag star. "Oh no, they were both really good, you can't choose," she insisted, adding with a laugh, "As one, we elevated each other."
The anecdote confirms that Minogue not only has the People magazine-declared "World's Sexiest Man" Jonathan Bailey in her contacts, but has also shared a legendary dance floor with him and fellow actor Andrew Scott.
Kylie's Show-Stopping 2024 Met Gala Look
While the dance story is new, Minogue's appearance at the 2024 Met Gala was widely celebrated. She turned heads on the red carpet in a stunning floor-length denim gown by Diesel, intricately embellished with thousands of micro crystals.
Diesel’s creative director, Glenn Martens, explained the dress's unique concept at the time. "It’s meant to look as though Kylie has been sleeping in this dress for hundreds of years, leaving parts of the fabric dissolved around her body’s contours," he said, perfectly aligning with the "Sleeping Beauties" theme.
Both Jonathan Bailey and Andrew Scott also attended the 2024 event, setting the stage for their later, now-revealed after-party reunion with Minogue.
The singer's Capital visit followed her performance at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard, where she gave the debut live performance of her song 'XMAS'.
