A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in Wolverhampton city centre after police recovered a zombie knife, over 40 wraps of Class A drugs, cash, and scales used for drug dealing. The arrest took place on August 17 near Townwell Fold, following a stop and search by the West Midlands Police Guardian Taskforce.
Arrest and Search
The Guardian Taskforce were patrolling around Wolverhampton city centre on Monday when they spotted the teenager acting suspiciously near Townwell Fold. After carrying out a stop and search, officers recovered over 40 wraps of Class A drugs. The boy was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Further searches were conducted at his home address, where officers found a zombie knife, additional Class A drugs, cash, and scales used for drug dealing. The boy has since been referred to the Youth Offending Service (YOS).

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after our Guardian officers recovered dozens of wraps of Class A drugs and a zombie knife in Wolverhampton. The Guardian Taskforce were patrolling around Wolverhampton city centre yesterday (Monday), where they spotted a boy acting suspiciously near Townwell Fold. Following enquiries a stop and search was carried out. Officers recovered over 40 wraps of Class A drugs, and the boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. Further searches were carried out at his home address where officers recovered a zombie knife, further Class A drugs, cash and scales used for drug dealing. The boy has been referred to Youth Offending Service (YOS)."
