Woman Stalked on Midland Trains and Station Over Two Consecutive Days
A woman was reportedly followed and stalked on trains and at a Midland railway station on two successive days, with police now seeking witnesses to the incidents. The unsettling events occurred at Stourbridge Junction, prompting a swift response from authorities.
Incidents on Back-to-Back Days
On Monday, February 23, a man allegedly harassed the woman on a train to Stourbridge Junction around 8.15pm. According to British Transport Police, he followed her through carriages, and despite her telling him to stop, he ignored her and pursued her off the train and outside the station. The situation only ended when a member of the public intervened.
The following day, Tuesday, February 24, the woman noticed the same man following her on another train towards Stourbridge Junction, this time at 8.30pm. She was again followed off the train at the station, leading to heightened concerns for her safety.
Police Response and Arrest
British Transport Police were alerted to the incidents and took immediate action. Officers patrolled the same trains at the same times, resulting in the arrest of a man in his 30s on suspicion of stalking. The arrest underscores the seriousness with which authorities are treating these events.

Detectives are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the incidents to come forward. A spokesperson for British Transport Police stated, "Passengers on board both services may have overheard the conversations between the man and the woman. We are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incidents, intervened, or heard what was going on to come forward."
