We're in the early stages of our enquiries and anyone with information is asked to contact us via Live Chat on our website, or call 101, and quote log 3882 of 18 August."

Local Impact and Councilor's Observations
A local councillor noted that police placed plastic sheeting over the broken glass of the Co-op's front doors, apparently to preserve the scene. They added that the interior of the supermarket was visible through the damaged entrance.
Residents living in flats above the Co-op faced difficulty accessing their properties due to the cordon. The investigation continues as police work to establish the circumstances of the incident.
